music and worship

Due to COVID-19 all in-person choir rehearsals and classes have been suspended. Please contact us for opportunities to connect in music and worship.

The worship ministries of First Baptist involve many men, women and children striving to use their God given gifts to bring Christ the glory due His Name. They love the Lord and share that testimony by singing, playing instruments and acting.

Serving in the music ministry is a wonderful way to:

  • Glorify God
  • Grow in Christ and inspire others to do the same
  • Discover abilities and hone skills
  • Develop friendships
  • Participate in God’s work at First Baptist Athens

  • A commitment to faithful participation in rehearsal, weekend services, and special events is expected.
