I have been very Blessed! While growing up my parents were Foreign Missionaries and I have traveled and lived in many different countries. Growing up in a Christian home (Huntsville) and my father being a Methodist Minister and Civil Rights Activist, this is where I Experienced, Learned, Accepted, and Lived the “Love” of Jesus Christ. My parents always taught me to have Respect and Compassion for all others. We ALL are God’s children!

How long have you been in full time ministry?
I have been working in the Early Education Field with children for 40+ years. I have served churches in Mississippi and Alabama.
How long have you been at FBC?
We moved to Athens from Mississippi in August 2000. We started attending FBC and I started working with the WEE Program In October of 2000.

My family represents 4 different countries. I was born in Sungei Gerong, Palembang, Sumtra, Indonesia. My oldest child was born in Lakenheath, England, my second child was born in Angles City, Philippines, and my other two children and husband were all born in Mississippi.
Favorite food or restaurant.
French Fries! but they have to be HOT! or a “Pork Steak” from Louise’s Restaurant located in Crystal Springs, Mississippi are my favorites.
Favorite Sports team.

I love gardening, Cooking and Antique/Thrift store shopping. But my all time favorite is looking for Sand Dollars and shells.

I have been fortunate to travel many places but Maui, Hawaii is my all time favorite!!
