This group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 9:30AM on the 2nd floor. We still have two major projects this year including Christmas backpacks for the poverty areas on the Mississippi River and Christmas for patients in the nursing home. We will also be packing for the homeless during the 3rd and 4th quarter of this year. Also, each Thursday morning from 9:00 to 11:00AM we host special needs adults from the Birdie Thornton Center. They usually stay and eat their lunch. They return to eat lunch on Fridays if one of our church members is available. Also during the school year we pack weekend food bags for children on free lunches. We have been packing on Wednesday nights with delivery to the school on Thursday mornings. We support Julian Newman Elementary.

Newcomers’ Study: After the Boxes are Unpacked 

This is a “Moving On After Moving In” Study for women new to Limestone County. We will meet on Thursdays beginning August 17th from 9:30-11:30AM.  This study includes local “field trips” to learn about our area every other Thursday.

This group cooks meals for homebound members and delivers them monthly.

This group provides clothing items and shoes primarily to needed families.  We also have towels, sheets, blankets, coats, and other items.  All items are free to these families.  The Clothes Closet is usually open on Wednesday mornings & takes donations then.  Donations can also be dropped off at the church office.
